This is a contracted in person student-facing position which will support spring programming related to ELSOs Consulting Services work and the Youth Climate Education Project through collaborative design and delivery of classroom activities and community engagement events at schools and sites across the Portland-Metro region. This position supports ELSOs Workforce Development Programs, working under the Workforce Development Program Manager to co-develop workshops and activities, train and mentor camp guides and interns, and facilitate STEAMED workshops and experiences for youth ages 14-College. The Seasonal Educator will assist with college and high school recruitment efforts for interns and fellows, support program logistics, and contribute to program evaluations and debriefs. This shared role provides a unique opportunity to engage with multiple departments, collaborate on curriculum design, and gain hands-on experience in youth leadership development, community engagement, and workforce pathway programming. Key Responsibilities • Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted business partner, • Manage the entire customer lifecycle, from RFQ to project completion, • Create and maintain detailed project plans with timelines, action items, and milestones, • Monitor profitability of each product line and recommend material strategies, • Present reports, recommendations, and concerns to the Director of Program Management & General Manager, • Lead customer communication, including the ability to diplomatically deliver challenging news, • Forecast, plan, and build strategies to meet revenue goals, • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in project management or strategic account management, • Experience in similar industry preferred, • Strong project management skills with ability to create GANT charts and track milestones, • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), • Intermediate skills with Excel & PowerPoint (pivot tables, VLookups, etc.), • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, • A strategic thinker who can dig into customer challenges, • Detail-oriented professional who takes good notes and seeks stakeholder alignment, • Team player who builds internal partnerships, • Someone who takes ownership and sees projects through to completion, • An individual who embraces challenges and works autonomously, • A collaborator who's open to cultural diversity, • Daily balancing of customer requests with strategic priorities, • Working with Program Coordinators to ensure systems are set up for customer products, • Preparing and leading account reviews, • Navigating a dynamic international business environment with changing priorities, • Pathway for growth from Program Manager to Senior PM or management roles, • Visibility to corporate management, • Supportive environment that values building partnerships, • Opportunity to be influential and make a significant impact, • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, Life, LTD, 401(k) & matching, paid time off, tuition reimbursement Please send your resume to .
