Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning and design of transportation projects, including roadway design and civil engineering tasks., • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and compliance with IDOT regulations., • Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions., • Oversee the preparation of engineering documents and specifications for transportation projects., • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project deadlines., • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns., • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field., • Professional Engineer (PE) license required., • 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering and roadway design., • Proficient in civil design software such as MicroStation and traffic modeling software like Synchro and Highway Capacity Software., • Familiarity with IDOT regulations and permitting processes., • Experience with Phase I and Phase II design phases, as well as roadway construction and rehabilitation projects., • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance - Company pays 99% of employee coverage for Health, 100% for Dental and Vision, • 401K Plan - contribution up to 8% of total compensation, • Bonus - Performance based - up to 8% of base salary paid semi-annually, • PTO (Vacation/Sick/Holiday) 8 company holidays, 15 PTO days, and 5 long term sick days, • Short term, Long term and Life Insurance AD&D - Company pays 100%, • Continuing Education, • Professional Registration/Licensing and Certification - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
