Job Description Kluever Law Group, a boutique Chicago law firm is currently seeking a new member to join our team and work within our Foreclosure/Mortgage Servicing Practice Group. This role operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry, serving large financial institutions. Meeting tight deadlines and adhering to compliance standards are essential. • The position will be mostly remote, with potential on-site tasks and/or meetings at our downtown office as business demands dictate., • Strong candidates will be able to work independently and be comfortable with a heavy focus on working within case management systems., • KLG has a strong commitment to providing a welcoming environment and encourages the growth and development of its team members, both personally and professionally. LaSalle St., Suite 1880, Chicago, IL 60601 Benefits: • Compensation: Base hourly rates between $21.00 - $27.00 based on experience, • Comprehensive Benefits: Health insurance with the firm covering 75% of the employee PPO plan cost (Additional plans are available that include employer contributions)., • Dental and vision plan options are available at attractive rates, • PTO: Paid personal time off, paid holidays & sick days, • Retirement Plans: 401k plan and guaranteed employer match., • Document Management -- Obtain required documents from clients, title companies, process servers, court files, and other public officials., • Document Intake Review -- Review incoming documents for completeness and sufficiency, and enter various data contained in the documents into case management systems., • Document Generation -- Generate drafts of legal documents for review and signature by attorneys or clients., • Customize template documents to specific cases as required, • Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy., • Some positions may require the review of statements of account, invoices, and identification of categories of charges to be included or excluded from data entry., • System Updates – Working various case files, communication with clients, and processing documents to and from clients, courts and opposing attorneys through case management systems., • Escalations - Identify and escalate unusual or complex issues to supervising attorneys and clients., • Detail Oriented - As our clients are federally regulated financial institutions, strict compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and system processes is required., • Judgment - Must be comfortable taking the initiative to promptly collaborate with and seek help and input from supervisors, managers, and attorneys., • Independent - Must be a self-starter, dependable and reliable., • Multi-Task - After training is completed, you must have the ability to work independently and prioritize various tasks on the workload, • Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred, • Experience with eFiling and/or eRecording, • Experience with CaseAware and Microsoft Office, • Experience using financial services case management systems, such as BKFS (LPS), Tempo, and VendorScape, • Experience searching the US Department of Defense website to perform military searches, • Experience in real estate law, reviewing title commitments, processing deeds, or other recordable instruments Company DescriptionKluever Law Group, LLC., is a boutique Chicago-based law firm with a 23-year history of delivering exceptional results for our clients.
