Interlink Technology, Inc. is an up-and-coming, process-driven IT services business looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to own the execution of approved sales work from proposal acceptance through invoicing, procurement, and service handoff. This is not a sales, lead-generation, or relationship-ownership role. It is an execution-focused position for someone who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and operational ownership in a structured environment. This is a fully remote position supporting our sales and service teams. Occasional in person company events required. Must be located in Southern California to apply. What You’ll Own Proposal Execution & Opportunity Management • Generate proposals for non-strategic, repeatable customer requests, • Work with vendors and distributors to obtain pricing and build accurate proposals, • Review proposals with customers to ensure clarity on scope, pricing, and next steps, • Follow up on proposals until acceptance or formal loss, • Generate and release customer invoices immediately after proposal acceptance, • Ensure invoices are accurate and released before any equipment is ordered or services are scheduled, • Generate a purchase order (PO) for every vendor or distributor purchase, • Place orders with vendors only after invoicing requirements are met, • Track order status, shipment details, and confirmations in the ticketing system, • Ensure purchase pricing and all additional charges (shipping, taxes, fees) are documented accurately, • Create complete service implementation tickets in the ticketing system, • Ensure scope, hardware, licensing, and billing context are clearly documented, • Generate and release monthly managed services invoices once per month, • Generate and release technical services (time & materials) invoices twice per month, • Verify time entries, billable work, rates, and billing alignment prior to invoicing, • Work within established sales, billing, and operational processes, • Help refine and build upon existing processes as the business grows, • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives guided by leadership and industry coaches, • Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, • Have strong attention to detail and naturally double-check your work, • Thrive in a structured, process-driven environment, • Stay calm and focused during deadline-driven work, • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams, • Think in systems and understand downstream impact, • Respect role boundaries and collaborate well with sales and service teams, • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, sales administration, or operational support, • Experience working with vendors or distributors for pricing and ordering, • Experience generating customer invoices or managing billing workflows, • Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems, • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Remote Work Expectations This role requires the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate clearly in a remote, process-driven environment.
