Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leader in millwork, that is seeking experienced and enthusiastic millwork carpenters. Location: Nashville, TNPosition Summary The Millwork Carpenter is responsible for the fabrication, installation, and repair of custom architectural woodwork and millwork components. This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, knowledge of woodworking machinery, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Can work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality finished products for commercial, residential, and specialty projects.Schedule & Pay • Starting Pay: $20-25/hr DOE, • Schedule:, • Monday–Friday, • Shift Times: 6am-2:30pmResponsibilities, • Fabrication & Assembly, • Construct custom millwork components including cabinetry, trim, doors, frames, moldings, and specialty woodwork., • Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, jointers, planers, CNC equipment, routers, sanders, and edge-banders., • Cut, shape, and assemble materials according to drawings, blueprints, and shop tickets., • Ensure all products meet quality standards and project specifications., • Installation, • Install millwork, cabinets, fixtures, and architectural wood components on job sites., • Fit and finish trim, mouldings, casework, and paneling with precision., • Maintain clean, accurate, and level installations in accordance with building codes and safety standards., • Technical & Documentation, • Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural plans, and material lists., • Measure and mark cutting lines, dimensions, and reference points., • Maintain project documentation, including time logs and material usage., • Maintenance & Safety, • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working conditions., • Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and shop protocols., • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and hazard-free.Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in carpentry or woodworking preferred., • 2 years of experience in millwork fabrication or finish carpentry., • Proficiency with woodworking tools, equipment, and materials., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications., • Strong mathematical, measurement, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks., • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at various heights.Preferred Skills, • Experience with CNC routers or automated millwork machinery., • Knowledge of architectural millwork standards (AWI)., • Finishing and staining experience., • Familiarity with commercial construction environments., • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Working Conditions, • Combination of shop fabrication and on-site installation work., • Exposure to noise, dust, and various weather conditions during installations., • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.Why Peoplelink?, • Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, • Direct Deposit or Pay Card Programs, • $50 Referral Program, • Weekly pay, • Direct communication with a recruiterPeoplelink Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of ‘linking’ communities through employment.
