Job Description Onesta General Contracting is seeking a reliable, skilled, and versatile Handyman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general construction and renovation, particularly in multifamily and commercial spaces. You will work directly on active job sites performing a variety of tasks, including cabinet and baseboard installation, tile work, light plumbing and electrical assistance, cleanup, and general labor support. Compensation: $20 - $35 hourly Responsibilities: • Install cabinets, baseboards, trim, and other finish carpentry elements, • Set tile and perform basic tile repairs (floors, backsplashes, showers, etc.), • Light electrical and plumbing (trim out), • Assist licensed trades with plumbing and electrical tasks, • Perform minor drywall repairs, patching, and painting, • Load/unload materials and tools; move supplies around the job site, • Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout each project, • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with job site rules, • Communicate clearly with team members and report progress or issues, • Perform other general construction duties as assigned by the superintendentQualifications:, • Proven experience in general construction or handyman work, • Skilled in the use of power tools and construction equipment, • Ability to follow instructions and read basic construction drawings, • Comfortable working in occupied or vacant units and commercial spaces, • Knowledge of construction safety practices, • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required, • Must be authorized to work in the U.S., • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, • Spanish/English bilingual a plusAbout Company Who We Are Onesta is a locally owned general contractor with a reputation for building honest relationships with clients, team, and subcontractors.
