This position offers flexibility to be remote with up to 75% travel Field Leadership Development • Assess current superintendents’ skills and capabilities through site visits and one-on-one interactions., • Participate in interviews with potential new hires for key superintendent positions., • Develop individualized and group development plans to strengthen leadership, technical, and operational skills., • Provide SME input into the development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and execution standards for field operations., • Ensure all superintendents are trained and aligned with company standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements., • Participate in preconstruction planning for large and complex projects, advising on site logistics, staffing, schedule feasibility, and constructability., • Support site leadership during project mobilization to ensure effective field setup and alignment with execution plans., • Conduct regular field audits to evaluate compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety practices., • Provide clear feedback and actionable improvement recommendations to superintendents and project leadership., • Track field performance trends and recommend strategic initiatives to address recurring challenges.Qualifications, • 15+ years of progressive construction field leadership experience, with significant time served as a senior project superintendent on large-scale ($100M+) EPC, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or similar process-industrial projects., • Proven track record of improving field performance through training, process improvement, and leadership coaching., • Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence without direct authority., • Influential leader able to win buy-in from experienced superintendents and project teams., • Practical expert with hands-on knowledge and credibility earned through years of field experience., • Change Champion that is passionate about continuous improvement and raising the bar on execution., • Strategic thinker who understands both the big picture and the operational details. Project Manager Responsibilities (include but not limited to): • Work with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals to achieve a successful result., • Assist COO & GC in development and maintenance of construction Budgets and CPM Schedules in Procore or other project management platform., • Oversee the design, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases of commercial construction projects., • Collaborate with Project Coordinator to issue Commitments via Procore (or other project management platform) prior to Commencement., • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules., • Issue and manage RFIs, Submittals, RFQs, Change Events, etc in Procore or other project management platform., • Meeting regularly with project team members to identify and resolve issues., • Review Meeting Agendas & Minutes in Procore or other project management platform with Project Coordinator prior to OAC Meetings., • Assess and manage both on-site and off-site risks., • Conduct weekly Safety Meetings on-site with Superintendent, Subcontractors, and all on-site personnel., • Supervise the Project Superintendent, site work, and day-to-day construction., • Complete Safety & QA/QC Inspections at defined points along Critical Path., • Enter complete and thorough Daily Logs in Procore or other project management platform., • Ensure that the work meets plan specifications and quality standards., • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution., • Facilitating Change Events to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget., • Defining project deliverables and acceptance criteria., • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables., • Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period., • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements., • Effectively and efficiently maintain a complete and comprehensive project database from inception to completion in Procore or other project management platform, to satisfy archiving requirements of General Contracting and Accounting.
