A well-established construction firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to support complex, fast-paced projects within New York City. This role is ideal for a seasoned field leader with strong multi-trade knowledge, healthcare construction experience, and a deep understanding of NYC regulatory requirements. The Superintendent will play a key role in jobsite execution, safety, quality control, and coordination of trades and specialty partners. • Manage select specialty partners and assigned scopes of work, • Lead and conduct foreman meetings and daily jobsite huddles, • Assist with jobsite layout, project setup, and logistics planning, • Enforce the Site Safety Plan and ensure compliance with OSHA, NYCDOB, FDNY, and Local Law 196, • Train team members on quality standards and DBO2 procedures, • Coordinate trades, inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain an efficient jobsite, • Develop and manage task-specific logistics plans, • Oversee QA/QC efforts, including accurate reporting for assigned scopes, • Assist the Lead Superintendent with project setup and execution, • Draft and review Exhibit A documents related to schedule and logistics, • Continuously review ROJ logs to ensure schedule alignment, • Create, review, and manage RFIs, • Maintain a full understanding of project specifications, • Complete daily, high-risk, and monthly reports accurately and on time, • Develop, update, and maintain breakout schedules, • Review change order scopes and assess schedule impacts, • Understand and manage ticket work processes, including SOV review and requisition markups, • Manage the TCO process and assist with punch list completion, • Supervise at least one direct report or laborer, • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, • Communicate effectively with internal project teams and external partners, • Exhibit consistent leadership and professionalism on the jobsite, • 5–7 years of construction experience, • 1–2 years of healthcare construction experience, • Proven experience managing at least two direct reports, • NYCDOB Registration (required), • NYC DOB SST Card (required), • Strong working knowledge of NYC construction regulations and safety standards, • Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience), • Healthcare package, • 401k match, • Holiday Bonus, • Vacation time
