Job Description The Associate Director is responsible for implementing enrollment management best practices and office operations to meet the University’s new student enrollment goals, University product knowledge, and effective sales and service techniques. The position is responsible for the outreach and recruitment activities, student interviews and counseling, and admission file review for primarily international and graduate student populations. The successful candidate will be an individual with a friendly, engaging personality, a positive attitude and a passion for the work, and be customer service-oriented, with demonstrated persistence, commitment, and ability to motivate others. • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment strategies with a focus on graduate and international students., • Partner with other units within enrollment services to support students from inquiry through matriculation; serves on enrollment services committees and projects, as assigned, • Travel within a defined territory to visit businesses, colleges, and community-based organizations, attend fairs, and conduct special programs. Plan all aspects of travel, manage receipts, and prepare travel reports to meet USJ’s policies and deadlines., • Coordinate with appropriate graduate program directors or deans assist with the development and implementation of graduate recruitment programing and marketing communications, • Review, manage, and evaluate applications from assigned student populations; Responsible for timely follow up/action and yield of assigned student populations., • Serve as a resource and provide guidance for Admissions Counselors/Assistant Directors, • May serve as the Designated School Official (DSO) for international students and work collaboratively with the University Primary DSO and U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) field representatives, • Utilizes CRM system (Slate) to track prospective student engagement, conduct recruitment data analysis, manage contacts, generate reports and communicate with students., • Clearly, accurately, and enthusiastically articulate information about the University and its programs, admission criteria, cost of attendance and aid. Assess individual student needs and, through multi-channel approaches, develops tactics to provide students with essential information., • Represents the University and the Office of Admissions with the highest degree of professionalism through an array of outreach, programs and activities. The goal is to expand and foster strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders., • Travel to recruitment and admissions functions and some early morning, evenings, and weekends is required., • Performs other related duties, as assigned.Education & Experience, • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred., • 1-3 years of experience in higher education in the areas of enrollment management, recruitment, admission, marketing or related experience required., • Database management and technology experience in higher education and familiarity with best practices required. This role involves repairing and maintaining a variety of small engines, heavy construction equipment, and rental fleet assets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch Manager and Rental Manager to ensure the equipment is properly serviced, maintained, and ready for use, while also providing excellent customer service in the yard. Responsibilities: * Report daily to the Branch Manager for assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly. * Perform maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment and heavy construction machinery. * Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot engine issues; adjust or replace components as needed. * Reassemble equipment after service and maintain accurate records of all repair work. * Prep rental equipment by servicing, inspecting, tagging, and ensuring it's ready for use. * Provide in-yard customer support, including equipment instructions and answering maintenance questions. * Manage the breakdown list, ensuring equipment status is up-to-date and being addressed daily. * Order necessary parts to keep the rental fleet in peak working condition. * Work on a wide range of customer equipment, including small engines, construction equipment, and other applicable machinery. * Maintain a professional attitude, work well in a team, and follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED. * At least 3 years’ experience in a related field preferred. * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with construction equipment and small engine repair. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
