Job DescriptionFit-Up Welder (Custom Fabrication Shop) Build Custom Projects • Grow Your Skills • Hands-On Work We’re hiring a Fit-Up Welder to join our custom fabrication job shop. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working independently, and wants to be involved in the full fabrication process—from fit-up to final weld. You’ll set up your own equipment, weld to print, and ensure quality before parts move to the next stage. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
