Our client, a leading facilities management and construction company in the South West, is seeking a skilled and proactive engineer to join their facilities management team who works on a University contract This is an excellent opportunity to work in a company renowned for high-quality projects and exceptional service delivery, with a strong record of growth and investment in its teams. What they Offer: • Permanent position with a 40-hour working week (shifts: 7:00–15:30 and 9:30–18:00), • Out-of-hours call-out rotation (approximately 1 in 6), • Exposure to a wide variety of electrical projects, from planned maintenance to complex repairs, • Collaborative and supportive team environment, • Opportunities for professional development and career progression Key Responsibilities: • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations, • Test and inspect electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently, • Produce detailed work reports to ensure stakeholders are kept informed, • Source parts, liaise with manufacturers, and solve complex technical problems, • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures, • Use PDAs or electronic devices to manage and report work Essential skills: • C&G Level 3 2357 or equivalent, and/or relevant apprenticeship, • Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance (planned, reactive, remedial), • AM2 assessment completed, • C&G 2382 18th Edition, • Full UK driving license, • ECS Gold Card Desirable: • IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card, • L8 Awareness If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact Ellie Benson on (phone number removed)
