We’re looking for a high-performing Managing Consultant to join our Brighton team, lead senior executive-search work and help shape the next phase of ICP’s growth. This role is for an experienced recruiter or executive-search professional with an established commercial track record, the appetite to build a specialist practice, and the capability to develop others along the way. You will work across one or more of ICP’s core focus areas: • Clubs, Leagues, Rights Holders & Federations, • Sporting, Performance & Medical, • Venues, Events & Live Experience, • Media, Content & Fan Platforms, • Women’s Sport You will have the opportunity to build and lead a market, sector practice or future team, supported by ICP’s established client relationships, global network and delivery infrastructure. We would particularly welcome people who have recruited within, worked in, or built meaningful connections across the sports ecosystem. Exceptional executive-search professionals from adjacent sectors with the right commercial capability and motivation to move into sport are also encouraged to apply. • Win, lead and deliver complex senior executive-search mandates across one or more specialist markets., • Own and deepen key client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders., • Build and execute a commercial strategy for a sector, function or geography, with clear accountability for growth., • Lead the full executive-search process: briefing, research, market mapping, candidate engagement, shortlist delivery, interview management, negotiation and completion., • Mentor, develop and support junior consultants, researchers and delivery colleagues., • Build a high-quality, visible market profile through sector insight, thought leadership, networking and relationship development., • Identify opportunities to develop new services, key accounts, practice areas and future team capability., • Play an active role in ICP’s rebrand, international growth plans and the development of the Australian office., • A minimum of 7 years’ recruitment experience, with substantial executive-search experience strongly preferred., • A strong, demonstrable billing and new-business track record., • Experience independently running a desk, managing senior client relationships and delivering high-value assignments., • The commercial judgement and personal credibility to advise senior stakeholders and win retained work., • Experience mentoring, managing or developing junior recruiters, researchers or consultants., • The ambition and capability to build a specialist market, practice area or future team., • A genuine interest in sport, ideally with prior exposure or connections across the sports ecosystem., • Curiosity, authenticity, humility, commercial drive and a collaborative leadership style., • Join a respected executive-search business at a defining point in its 25-year story., • Help shape a new brand and the company’s next growth chapter., • Access a warm platform of existing client relationships and a global network across sport., • Build a practice with genuine autonomy, support and scope for long-term leadership., • Operate in an entrepreneurial, high-performance culture without sacrificing collaboration or quality., • Work alongside ambitious colleagues who value curiosity, authenticity, humility and shared success., • Contribute to international growth, including the development of ICP’s Australian office., • Create a clear path toward practice leadership, team building and broader business impact. You will also have made a positive contribution to the development of colleagues, key accounts and ICP’s wider growth ambitions.
