Key Responsibilities: • Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, • Supporting medication administration and meal preparation, • Helping with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort, • Providing companionship and emotional support to service users, • Assisting with household tasks such as light cleaning and shopping, • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes in condition Requirements: • At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting, • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature, • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one, • Right to work in the UK, • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for domiciliary care), • Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) unless already certified, • Willingness to complete online training (free of charge) This Domiciliary Care Worker role in the Abergavenny, Caerphilly & Torfaen area offers flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, with both short and long shifts available.
