    About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day management and overall operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will help ensure efficient daily functioning, maintain high customer service standards, and support the business in achieving its sales and profitability objectives. Key Responsibilities • Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the establishment., • Manage, supervise and support a team of staff., • Prepare staff schedules and coordinate daily staffing requirements., • Monitor stock levels, inventory and ordering requirements., • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints., • Support the recruitment, induction and training of new employees., • Ensure the premises are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard., • Assist in achieving sales targets and improving business profitability., • Support the implementation of marketing activities and promotional strategies., • Assist with budget management and control of operational costs., • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed., • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety requirements., • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience., • Support the management team in driving business growth and development. Skills & Experience • Previous experience in a supervisory, management or assistant management role., • Strong leadership and team-management skills., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to manage staff schedules and operational priorities., • Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales and profitability., • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment., • Knowledge of health and safety and workplace procedures. Skills & Experience Essential • Excellent telephone manner., • Clear and confident communication skills., • Ability to build rapport quickly., • Positive attitude with a resilient and self-motivated approach., • Strong listening and questioning skills., • Good organisational and time management skills., • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office., • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
