We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid media across all three Loungers brands – Lounges, Cosy Club and Brightside. You’ll take ownership of our paid strategy, daily optimisation and reporting, and build a best-in-class approach to acquisition and conversion across a 300-site estate. Loungers was founded in 2002 by three friends who wanted to create a neighbourhood café-bar that they would want to go to, the Group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK and has consistently outperformed the wider UK hospitality sector over the past three years. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to use smart targeting, great creative and solid funnel maths to drive growth. This is a hybrid role based in our Bristol HQ 4 days a week and 1 day working from home. Key Responsibilities Paid Media Strategy & Execution • Lead paid activity across Meta, TikTok, Google (Search, YouTube, Display) and other key platforms., • Build full-funnel campaigns using See–Think–Do principles., • Develop geo-targeted and site-specific media plans at scale., • Optimise daily across keywords, audiences, bids and creative., • Run structured tests across creative, targeting, formats and landing journeys., • Analyse competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks., • Balance paid and organic traffic intelligently, ensuring we don’t pay for demand already captured via SEO, CRM or local discovery., • Build long-term planning cycles while developing short-term “flywheels” to stay agile and reactive., • Use Sprout Social to understand audience behaviour, content performance and engagement trends across all brands., • Identify the themes, formats and posting rhythms that drive impact, and feed these insights into paid creative and targeting strategies., • Monitor competitor activity in Sprout to strengthen our local and national positioning., • Build and maintain performance dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, platform APIs)., • Regularly interrogate data from Google Analytics, Search Console, Sprout Social, paid platforms and internal systems., • Use funnel maths to forecast, budget and set clear performance expectations., • Produce weekly and monthly reporting with direct, actionable insight., • Work with Airship on segmentation, suppression lists and audience sharing., • Integrate media activity with ResDiary to improve conversion and cost-per-booking., • Ensure paid supports – and doesn’t cannibalise – organic discovery and CRM performance., • Partner with brand, creative, community and CRM teams to deliver integrated campaigns., • Brief and refine creative assets based on analytics and platform learnings., • Support influencer and creator partnerships with paid amplification strategies., • Collaborate with the Head of Digital on forecasting, budgeting and planning. What success looks like • Clear uplift in ROI, CPA/CPB, bookings and footfall., • Paid spend deployed intelligently, complementing organic channels., • Automation in place to scale consistent, localised campaigns., • Strong testing discipline and clear reporting cadences., • Social analytics meaningfully shaping targeting, creative and brand strategy., • A measurable improvement in digital acquisition across all three brands. What we’re looking for? Essential • Experience running paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Google., • Strong skills in analytics and data interrogation, especially Sprout Social, GA4 and Search Console., • Ability to translate audience insight into creative and targeting decisions., • Confident working with data daily and simplifying insights for stakeholders., • Ability to build geo-targeted and site-specific strategies., • Strong understanding of funnel maths, attribution and optimisation., • Experience in hospitality, retail or multi-site environments., • Familiarity with Airship, ResDiary, Zonal or similar systems., • Experience boosting creator content or running performance-led influencer activity., • Understanding of SEO, CRM and local discovery.
