ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Director of Operations as F&B Coordinator you will play a central role in the day-to-day organisation of the food and beverage operation throughout the hotel. We are looking for someone who is friendly organised and a great communicator! As F&B Coordinator key aspects of your role will include (but are not limited to): • Support managers across all of the hotels F&B venues including SUSHISAMBA restaurant W Lounge Room Service and Event Operations, • Manage the schedules of the hotels casual pool ensuring the right resources are in the right place at the right time, • Support HR and venue managers by ensuring weekly payroll reports run correctly, • Answer phone calls and respond to emails related to group enquiries in venues, • Provides necessary information to guest via telephone and email, • Work with Finance and F&B managers to ensure financial information is recorded correctly, • Supervise reservations platforms, • Prepare reservation information for venue managers, • Ensure sufficient menu and collateral stock in venues placing required orders, • Coordinate with Kitchen and Marketing for new menu launches, • Confidence interacting with guests and employees, • Strong communication skills both written and verbal English, • Multi-tasking skills, • Comfortable using computers and systems, • The ability to be self-directed, • The ability to prioritise tasks, • Previous experience working in a front-of-house role is desirable, • A positive mindset, • World class training and development including leadership development, • Unlimited career opportunities (internationally and locally), • Wellness and mental health programmes, • Discounted accommodation food and beverage in over 9000 hotels all over the world!, • Discounts for your friends and family, • Specially curated discounts in thousands of shops ABOUT THE PROPERTY W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.
