You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.\nManchester City Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader in Planned Maintenance to join our Highways Service on a parttime basis (2 days per week). You will:\nProvide expert technical leadership across planned maintenance programmes\nLead a team delivering a wide range of resurfacing schemes including reconstruction and preventative treatments such as micro surfacing, slurry seal and surface dressing\nPrepare contract documentation and lead the contractor procurement process\nCarry out Principal Designer duties (CDM 2015)\nDevelop project plans, manage resources and monitor budgets\nOversee contract management and ensure schemes are delivered to specification\nProduce high-quality reports and business cases\nMotivate and support team development, driving continuous improvement\nChampion the Council’s vision, values and long-term strategic aims\nAbout the Highways Service\nOur vision is to manage and improve Manchester’s highways network in a way that supports the city’s growth and ensures safe, reliable and sustainable transport.
