Who we are looking for An experienced financial reporting specialist to undertake both the production and where applicable oversight review for completeness and accuracy of all components of financial statement reporting and associated deliverables for a variety of funds. Primarily responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in line with the relevant accounting standards you will also be required to oversee the outsourced arrangement for our Poland Financial Reporting Hub in line with our governance and control framework. Working with Fund Accounting / Proof & Audit, Auditors, Clients and associated stakeholders to ensure financial reports are completed accurately and to timetable. What you will be responsible for As Financial Reporting Specialist - Senior Associate you will The prepare and oversee the production of financial statements for your assigned clients including planning, financial statement production/review and audit coordination. Ensure the controls are applied, complete and evidenced in a timely manner and statements are in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. Irish, IFRS, UK, US, other GAAP). Maintain an understanding of Internal and client SLA provisions including relevant KPIs to ensure delivery standards to client are maintained. Perform effective governance of the Financial Reporting hub (including other internal service providers). Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures Ensure appropriate awareness, escalation and recording of risk issues, breaches and suspicious transactions and act in accordance with the 'risk' escalation procedure and protocols. Maintain and develop relationships with your clients, external auditors, printers, financial reporting Hub and other internal State Street departments. Deputise for your manager and perform other duties as required from time to time. Manage own continuous professional development, through engaging in the Personal Performance Review (PPR) process and attending relevant training as per Development Pathways. Who we are looking for A Transfer Agency specialist, at Associate 2 level to join our Transfer Agency team. You will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence as well as reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. What you will be responsible for You'll be working within the UK Transfer Agency department. You will be accurately delivering high quality service both internally and externally by incorporating experience and industry knowledge in the daily workflow: You will be part of a larger team operating our Transfer Agency team in the UK. You will contribute towards all BAU processes within the team. Execute daily operational tasks such as investor onboarding, deal input, register updates, investor servicing, cash movements, reconciliations and handling investor contact Promote risk awareness, assessment and control within the department Communicate relevant information as appropriate up and down the line and escalate where necessary Work closely with the other departments within State Street locally and Transfer Agency Units globally Act as an effective team player. Experience with investor onboarding (AML/KYC) and Ongoing Due Diligence and a sound working knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding AML/KYC and investor onboarding IOC is desirable, or a willingness to complete Understanding of regulatory complaint handling requirements, with prior exposure to the handling & recording of Consumer complaint cases, beneficial. Good knowledge of current trends and technical issues impacting the financial services particularly within Transfer Agency Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially an advanced level of Excel Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English Display thorough understanding of the following key tasks and the related regulatory rules:- Dealing Settlements Reconciliations Investor Servicing Cash Management Registration Detailed understanding of procedural, technical and product requirements within Transfer Agency business Excellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
