ROLE PURPOSE The Chef de Partie plays a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional culinary experiences across live events, conferences, and exhibitions. Responsible for managing a designated kitchen section, the role ensures dishes are prepared and presented to consistently high standards while supporting smooth and efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, the Chef de Partie helps deliver diverse menus, supports junior team members, and contributes to maintaining Levy's standards of food quality, creativity, and service excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Kitchen Operations Manage a designated kitchen section, ensuring efficient preparation and presentation of dishes. Deliver high-quality food consistently across events and daily operations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organisation. Menu & Event Delivery Support the planning and execution of menus tailored to live events and hospitality operations. Adapt to changing event requirements and perform effectively under pressure. Assist in delivering menus that cater for dietary requirements and diverse guest needs. Teamwork & Leadership Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service delivery. Support, train, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen team members. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Quality & Continuous Improvement Monitor ingredient quality and presentation standards. Support waste reduction and efficient kitchen practices. PERSON SPECIFICATION Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and presentation. Experience within events, banqueting, conferencing, or large-scale catering environments desirable. Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills. Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to remain calm, flexible, and focused under pressure.
