THE COMPANY Specialist Sports Group is a well-established and expanding sporting goods agency offering Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Creative solutions to performance sports brands including world leading brand adidas. Specialist Sports is based on the western edge of Southampton, England. We distribute 14 sports categories and continue to grow our relationship with sports performance brands by providing expert capabilities from brand marketing and sales strategy to distribution and logistics. THE ROLE As the business grows and looks to expand into new markets, we are seeking to add an experienced individual who can help drive efficiency through improved organisation and diligence. Supporting the board, with particular focus on the CEO and CCO, the successful candidate will play a key role in allowing the business leaders to focus delivering strategic objectives, helping to evolve behaviour across the business. Key responsibilities: • Diary & inbox management, travel booking and expense recording of the 4 board members, but primarily CEO and CCO, • Preparation and maintenance of an inventory of power point presentations for key stakeholder meetings, • Head office event coordination – including 6 monthly sales events, supplier hosting and internal business wide events, • Sales team conference attendance coordination, • Ownership and maintenance of annual board calendar of events, • Head office showroom management – customer visits and events, • Ownership of LinkedIn recruitment process, • Maintenance of company SharePoint intranet site and supporting documents, • Oversight of consistent onboarding process and documentation for new employees, • Other ad hoc tasks as required The role is office based. Working pattern can be flexible – minimum 27.5 hrs per week.
