HR Manager Permanent, Full Time Glasgow City Centre (Hybrid) £50,000 - £60,000 + comprehensive benefits Advanta Group is a growing, multi-entity professional services group, bringing together specialist businesses across wealth management, risk, and mortgages to provide integrated advice and solutions to clients. This new HR Manager role is a key appointment, providing day‑to‑day leadership of the HR function while helping to shape the Group’s long term people strategy across multiple regulated entities. The Role Reporting to the Group Head of Operations, you’ll take ownership of HR across the group, operating as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers. This is a hands on role with real breadth, combining employee relations, policy and compliance, people development, and change management within a regulated environment. What You’ll Do • Provide high quality, pragmatic HR support to managers and employees across the business, • Act as the first point of contact for complex people and employee relations matters, • Lead on HR policy development, consistency, and compliance across regulated entities, • Support acquisitions and integration activity, including TUPE processes and consultation, • Coach, develop, and support the internal HR team, • Partner with senior stakeholders on people risk, workforce planning, and organisational change, • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and performance management processes What You’ll Bring • Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within professional services, • Experience working in, or exposure to, a regulated or compliance-led environment, • Ideally previous experience managing, mentoring, or developing others, or clear readiness to move into a people management role, • CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable (candidates without this may still be considered if otherwise strong and open to further study. Full business support is available for continued academic development, i.e. progression to level 7), • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders, • A pragmatic, detail-oriented approach with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic input Why Join Advanta?
