Role Overview: Within the Gas Services Distributed business at Siemens Energy, you will independently perform NDT and dimensional inspections on components for gas and steam turbines, often in collaboration with suppliers. This is a newly created, high-impact role (the first of four) where you will act as the technical authority at vendor sites. Your primary responsibility is to travel to a specific set of suppliers (including sand-blasting and casting businesses) across the UK and Europe to perform "second-check" inspections before products are shipped to our factories. What You Bring: • Technical Expertise: Experience in the castings industry (specifically SGI, steel, and alloys) or a dedicated casting inspections role., • NDT Qualifications: Certified to ISO9712 (or similar) in VT, MT, PT, and UT.
