Compliance Manager - Property Management The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring all properties within the portfolio meet legal, regulatory, and industry compliance standards. This role focuses on fire safety, health & safety, and building safety to promote safe, well-maintained living environments. Key Responsibilities - Compliance Manager - Property Management Oversee day-to-day fire, health, and building safety compliance across the portfolio. Ensure all compliance actions are tracked, completed on time, and properly documented by managing agents. Implement and monitor testing and inspection programmes in line with legislation and British Standards. Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure statutory compliance. Manage building safety information, ensuring accurate data is maintained across compliance systems. Maintain and update operational manuals (O&Ms). Oversee engineering insurance coverage for each site. Record and manage accidents and near misses, implementing preventative measures. Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMs), ensuring appropriate insurance and contractor oversight. Prepare FM and KPI reports, highlighting risks and recommending solutions. Support Building Safety Act responsibilities, including safety case reports, resident engagement, and maintaining the golden thread of information. Plan cyclical maintenance and support CAPEX budgeting. Manage communal plant and shared heat network systems. Drive process improvements and promote a strong culture of safety and compliance. Support crisis management planning. Undertake other reasonable duties as required. Skills & Experience - Compliance Manager - Property Management Strong knowledge of residential compliance legislation (Landlord & Tenant, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Building Safety Act). Solid understanding of hard and soft FM services, including M&E. Analytical, detail-oriented, and organised. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confident stakeholder management skills. Data-driven and able to deliver practical solutions. Proficient in MS Office and compliance management systems. Project management experience. Essential Requirements - Compliance Manager - Property Management Minimum 5 years experience in facilities management. Experience managing residential property portfolios. Relevant professional qualifications and strong understanding of statutory obligations. NEBOSH, IOSH, or IWFM qualification (at least one required). Full UK driving licence.
