About the Setting The school caters for pupils with a variety of complex needs, including SEMH, physical disabilities, communication difficulties, and complex medical requirements. Staff work collaboratively to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, ensuring every pupil receives tailored support to meet their individual goals. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with diverse SEN needs, • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour support, • Support with personal care or medical needs where required, • Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans To be successful in this role, candidates should have: • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH, autism, or complex medical needs, • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Additional related training (e.g., Team Teach, Moving & Handling, Makaton, medical or safeguarding training) – highly advantageous, • Opportunities for supply, part-time, or full-time work, • Supportive leadership and staff culture, • Rewarding work making a real difference every day Apply today to secure your place in this rewarding role.
