The Role The Director of AI & Data will lead Ingentive’s AI strategy, capability and delivery function. This role heads a team of consultants who design, build and support AI-powered solutions using the evolving Microsoft AI stack. The Director of AI combines thought leadership, hands-on technical direction, team management and close engagement with Microsoft to ensure Ingentive remains at the forefront of innovation. This is a pivotal role shaping Ingentive’s AI proposition, driving client success, and embedding AI readiness across our organisation. Essential Expertise: • Deep knowledge of Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, including Azure AI Foundry, M365 Copilot, D365 Copilot, Power Platform AI features and Fabric., • Experience working with multi model, multi modal solutions., • Experience implementing complex multistage ML techniques for data analysis, throughout the whole lifecycle training, testing, validation, production., • Proven experience leading technical teams delivering digital or AI transformation within the Microsoft partner world., • Demonstrable experience in client-facing pre-sales and solution design., • Expert skills in building enterprise architecture, data governance, security and responsible AI., • Confident communicator able to simplify complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences., • Passion for emerging technology, with a track record of rapid learning and experimentation. Desirable Expertise: • Previous experience in a consultancy or systems integrator environment., • Engagement with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, product teams or preview programmes., • Industry thought leadership through talks, blogs or community contributions., • Certification in Azure AI Foundry, Data or Architect pathways. Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership • Define and evolve Ingentive’s AI strategy in alignment with our vision to create Frontier Enterprises., • Translate Microsoft’s AI roadmap into clear offerings, accelerators and delivery patterns., • Act as a senior advisor to clients, helping them adopt AI securely, responsibly and at scale. 2. Delivery Excellence • Lead a team of consultants delivering end-to-end AI initiatives across Microsoft Copilot, Computer Use, Azure AI Foundry, Fabric and related services., • Oversee project governance, solution quality, and delivery standards., • Support pre-sales and proposal development for AI engagements. 3. Innovation and Research • Continuously evaluate the latest Microsoft AI capabilities, preview features, and partner programmes., • Identify emerging tools, patterns and use cases, turning them into practical solutions for clients., • Own technical differentiation for Ingentive’s AI practice. 4. Engagement with Microsoft • Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft product groups, partner teams and account teams., • Keep Ingentive aligned with Solution Designations, co-sell opportunities and early-access programmes., • Represent Ingentive at Microsoft events, webinars and partner communities. 5. Education and Evangelism • Build and run internal enablement programmes to upskill our consultants, sales teams and leadership., • Deliver external education workshops, thought leadership sessions and client briefings., • Raise Ingentive’s profile as a leading Microsoft AI partner through talks, content and community engagement. 6. People Leadership • Manage, mentor and grow a team of consultants., • Foster a culture of curiosity, excellence and continuous learning., • Work with HR to develop recruitment plans, competency frameworks and career paths for the AI practice.
