Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of performance marketing services across a large portfolio of ecommerce and retail clients., • Lead, mentor, and develop a senior team of Performance Directors and paid media specialists, creating a high-performance, collaborative environment where people can thrive., • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic adviser and key escalation point., • Drive strategic planning and performance improvement for clients, ensuring work delivers clear, measurable commercial impact., • Identify, resolve, and proactively prevent client or performance challenges, balancing client needs with agency success., • Design and refine scalable systems, processes, and ways of working to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across the department., • Contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping shape agency strategy, culture, and operational excellence., • Partner with Sales and Marketing on new business pitches, case studies, thought leadership, and industry events., • Stay ahead of industry, platform, and technology trends, ensuring Nest continues to innovate and lead within ecommerce performance marketing., • Support commercial growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and broader growth opportunities that benefit both clients and Nest. Candidate Experience We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded performance marketing leader who brings both strategic depth and people-first leadership. You’ll likely bring: • Extensive agency and/or in-house marketing experience, with deep expertise and passion for digital performance marketing., • A proven track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams, through a combination of direct line management and broader departmental leadership., • Strong experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders, including founders and C-suite leaders, within ecommerce or retail businesses., • Confidence operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the agility to turn decisions into action quickly and effectively., • A naturally curious mindset, with a constant drive to seek out new knowledge, better ways of working, and innovative solutions., • A systems-led approach, with a clear inclination towards automation, efficiency, and scalable growth., • The ability to collaborate seamlessly across disciplines, working closely with senior leadership, paid media specialists, creative teams, and sales and marketing functions., • High proficiency in using data to identify risks and opportunities, inform decision-making, and drive performance improvements., • Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrable experience thinking and acting in ways that maximise business and client outcomes.
