Marketing Manager (Architecture & Design) Location UK-based (London/Hybrid) Regular collaboration with Dubai and Egypt Reporting to Senior leadership - CEO Direct Reports Graphic Designer Social Media Manager Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and deliver marketing activity across the UK and Middle East regions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the architecture and design who understands how to position a creative practice commercially while protecting design integrity. You will be responsible for shaping marketing strategy, managing a small in-house team, and delivering campaigns that support business development, brand positioning, awards, bids, and digital presence across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Brand Develop and deliver an integrated marketing strategy aligned to business objectives across the UK and Middle East Ensure consistent brand positioning while tailoring messaging for regional markets Champion the practice’s design ethos and values across all marketing channels Campaigns, Content & Communications Lead content strategy across digital, print, PR, awards, and thought leadership Oversee production of case studies, project narratives, presentations, and marketing collateral Collaborate with studio directors and leadership to articulate project stories and studio culture Support awards submissions, press releases, and editorial opportunities Digital & Social Media Oversee website content, updates, and performance (working closely with designers and external suppliers where relevant) Line manage the Social Media Manager and guide content planning, tone of voice, and campaign performance Use analytics and insight to continuously improve reach, engagement, and lead generation Team Leadership & Management Line manage and mentor the Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager Set clear objectives, priorities, and development plans for direct reports Foster a collaborative, creative, and commercially minded marketing team Business Development & Bids Support Work closely with business development and leadership teams on bids, pitches, and proposals Ensure high-quality, compelling submissions that reflect both design excellence and commercial value Support client presentations and new market opportunities, particularly in the Middle East Stakeholder & Regional Collaboration Act as a key marketing partner to senior stakeholders across studios and regions Coordinate marketing activity across time zones and cultural contexts Manage external consultants, photographers, PR agencies, and suppliers as required Skills & Experience Essential Mid to senior-level marketing experience ideally within architecture and design Experience working across UK and Middle East markets Proven line management experience (minimum of 2 direct reports) Strong understanding of brand-led marketing within creative practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience supporting bids, awards, or business development activity Strong project management and organisational skills Desirable Architecture, design, or related degree/background Experience working in multidisciplinary or international practices Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing analytics, and CMS platforms Confidence working with senior creative and commercial stakeholders Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with a hands-on delivery mindset Commercially aware but design-led Confident, calm, and credible when working with senior architects Highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities Collaborative, adaptable, and culturally aware What We Offer Opportunity to shape and lead marketing across an international architecture practice Exposure to high-profile projects and global markets Collaborative, creative studio environment Competitive salary and benefits package
