About the Role This role is central to defining and delivering the data, optimisation, and operational delivery for CTM North’s Operations. The role requires deep expertise in data analytics, process optimisation, and operational performance. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Head of Data and Optimisation will drive insight-led decision-making, streamline processes, and enhance both customer and business outcomes through the intelligent use of data, automation, and technology. A key responsibility will be the design, development, and continual enhancement of reporting frameworks and platforms that provide real-time visibility of project data, operational performance, and customer metrics. The job holder will also be responsible for resource planning across the North Operations team and for reviewing and signing off all client data packs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of output. By transforming raw data into actionable insights, the role will enable informed strategic decisions, support operational efficiency, and reinforce accountability across the North Operations function. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Over 5 years of proven expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Excel), • Proven ability to develop and implement data strategies that drive operational and customer-focused outcomes, • Experience in process optimisation and operational excellence methodologies, • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive change across multiple stakeholders, • Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting complex information to senior leadership, • Proficiency in automation and workflow management tools to enhance efficiency and scalability, • Good project management and execution skills, ensuring delivery of initiatives on time and within scope, • Strong understanding of financial metrics and KPIs, • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, • Results-driven with a focus on both short-term and long-term goals, • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels CTM is a Disability Confident Employer.
