Overview As a Net Zero Solutions Consultant, you’ll partner with diverse clients—ranging from SMEs to large corporates—to develop, implement, and manage bespoke net‑zero carbon strategies. You’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding clients through emissions measurement, carbon accounting, target‑setting, and operational decarbonisation planning, helping them align with frameworks like the GHG Protocol and SBTi. Responsibilities Conduct carbon footprint assessments across Scope 1, 2, and 3 and produce actionable insights. Build and deliver client-aligned net‑zero roadmaps, including energy audits, low-carbon feasibility studies, and reduction target modelling. Navigate and advise on relevant frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol, SBTi, UK ETS, SECR, PAS 2060/2080). Produce high-quality deliverables: client-facing reports, presentations, and workshops. Collaborate internally and oversee delivery partners; manage timelines, budgets, and project scope. Support business development, contribute thought leadership, and promote services at external events. Qualifications Essential • Experience in carbon accounting and net‑zero advisory (Scopes 1/2/3, SBTi, PAS2060, SECR, ESOS, etc.)., • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and carbon/accounting tools. Analytical and numerate., • Consultancy/project management experience: delivering to scope, on time, within budget., • Strong verbal and written communication skills; adept at translating technical data into clear recommendations. Desirable, • Degree or postgraduate qualification in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, energy, or related., • Experience in whole-life carbon, lifecycle assessments (LCA), embodied carbon modelling., • Familiarity with broader ESG reporting frameworks (CDP, GRI, TCFD) or ISO 14064., • Experience with building energy systems (HVAC, heat pumps) or retrofit design., • Professional membership or chartered status (e.g., CIBSE, EI, CDP, GRI, EMA) Salary 45,000-65,000
