Senior People Business Partner DCC Energy Great Britain – Flogas Britain Location: Ideally based within commuting distance of Leicester / Syston, with travel across Great Britain for stakeholder meetings and business engagement. The Opportunity We’re looking for a commercially minded, strategic, and people-centred Senior People Business Partner to join our People team and support the continued growth and transformation of Flogas Britain. Reporting to the Head of People Partnering for DCC Energy GB, and working closely with the Managing Director of Flogas, this role will partner senior stakeholders across the business to support people strategy, organisational effectiveness, culture, and capability. What you’ll be doing • Acting as a trusted People partner to senior leaders and leadership teams across Flogas Britain, • Developing and delivering people plans aligned to strategic and operational priorities, • Supporting organisation design and workforce planning activity to enable growth and operational effectiveness, • Coaching and supporting leaders on people-related matters, performance, and organisational change, • Leading and supporting complex change initiatives including restructures, integrations, and TUPE activity, • Partnering with Finance and business leaders on workforce planning, productivity, and cost management, • Providing guidance on complex employee relations and industrial relations matters, • Using people data and insights to support decision-making and business performance, • Championing colleague engagement, inclusion, diversity, and culture initiatives across the business, • Working collaboratively with Centres of Expertise to deliver joined-up people solutions, • Supporting the ongoing development and consistency of HR Business Partnering capability across the wider function What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone with commercial awareness, excellent relationship-building skills, and a collaborative approach to partnering with stakeholders. You’ll ideally bring: • HR Business Partnering experience within a complex, multi-site organisation, • Experience supporting senior operational and commercial stakeholders, • Solid organisational design, workforce planning, and change management capability, • Demonstrated experience supporting complex employee relations and transformation activity, • The ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities, • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, • Experience working alongside trade unions or collective consultation forums, • A pragmatic and insight-led approach to problem-solving and decision-making, • CIPD qualification (Chartered level preferred), • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Great Britain We know that people don’t always meet every requirement listed above, and that’s okay.
