Meet Our Client We are seeking experienced, compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage boy with complex care needs within a 2:1 care package in his family home. He is non-verbal and non-mobile, requiring full support with all aspects of daily care. Responsibilities may include seizure management, PEG feeding, suctioning, and personal care. Experience in respiratory care and severe epilepsy is essential, including confidence in administering rescue medication. He enjoys sensory-based activities, such as musical toys and messy play, and loves watching Disney films, especially The Lion King and Toy Story. When he is feeling well, he enjoys trips to the cinema and bowling. He is also a Wolves fan and enjoys being around animals. Day shifts may involve supporting him either at home or at school, while night shifts focus on close monitoring, managing clinical needs, and ensuring he remains safe and comfortable throughout the night. He lives with his family and two dogs, so applicants must be comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to respond calmly to changing needs are essential.
