Emergency Care Practitioner Service Care Solutions are recruiting for Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to cover Primary Care Centre's within the Yorkshire Area. Location: Yorkshire and surrounding Areas Contract: Locum - Block Booking and Adhoc (book 6 months in advance!) Hours: Shifts available 7 days per week (dependent on site) Shifts: Flexible - We work round your diary! Essential Criteria: • ECPs must be registered by a Healthcare Professional (HCPC/NMC), • Postgraduate qualification in Emergency/Advanced Practice (Level 7), • Independent Prescriber Qualification (V300) Duties: • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergency conditions, • Diagnosing and managing both minor injuries and acute illnesses within your scope of practice, • Providing autonomous clinical decision-making, including initiation of treatment plans and discharge decisions, • Administering medications under Patient Group Directions (PGDs) or as an independent prescriber (if qualified), • Requesting and interpreting diagnostic investigations such as blood tests, ECGs, and X-rays, • Liaising with other healthcare professionals and referring patients to appropriate services as needed, • Supporting the delivery of high-quality care in settings such as urgent treatment centres (UTCs), A&E departments, walk-in centres, and primary care services, • Promoting patient education and self-care for minor conditions and injuries, • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation Why Work with Service Care Solutions?
