Business Overview Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications. It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media. The Role Support existing client relationships, maintain and increase retention of assets and high levels of client satisfaction in territory and across Global Client Solutions (GCS). • Support the growth in fundraising outcomes in territory in close collaboration with, • regional and global Clients & Strategy colleagues., • Produce accurate and timely client and consultant materials., • Contribute to the delivery of change initiatives impacting GCS., • Collaborate across and within GCS to delivery on the firm’s growth agenda., • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across the NAM business., • Support the management of internal stakeholders, including through the accurate, • provision of Salesforce data for territory., • Represent IFM Investors externally to clients, prospects and industry stakeholders. Strategic Planning • Be a strong contributor to the delivery of GCS NAM as, • part of the overall GCS Six Pillar scorecard., • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of our, • products, investment processes and services, • Make recommendations for innovation and change, • rooted in competitor and investment market trends., • Focus on developing client relationship, business, • development and problem resolution skills., • Adeptly manage external and internal stakeholders. Business Performance • Support territory by actively contributing to the fundraising strategy and development of your territory’s prospect pipeline., • Support the management of existing client relationships, retention of client assets, and maintain and increase client satisfaction., • Respond to investor/prospect queries accurately and in a prompt manner., • Prepare for meetings/briefings., • Take an active role in investor due diligence meetings and/or take part in finals presentations., • Maintain detailed and accurate tracking data for existing investors/ prospects including meaningful and prompt recording of interactions in Salesforce., • Aid incoming investors with fund closings. Policy & Process Management Research & Due Diligence • Support due diligence processes., • Develop and maintain accurate marketing and due diligence materials., • Manage quality, accuracy and timeliness of due diligence responses, including contributing to RFPs where needed., • Maintain territory sales pipeline., • Conduct market research across asset classes /competitors/prospects/investors Teamwork • Actively contribute to the team (territory/region) in, • a positive and productive manner., • Build trust and effective working relationships across, • IFM., • Demonstrate strong integration between GCS and other, • IFM teams., • Mentor and provide oversight, guidance and direction to, • analysts., • Become a role model for IFM’s values. Experience • 4+ years post-graduation, • Ideally in a private markets’ environment, otherwise in client services roles within financial services organisation, • Ideally in an Investor Relations or capital raising role servicing institutional clients., • Playing a strong, positive role in service-orientated teams, • Familiarity with best practice in developing, managing and deepening client relationships, • Good understanding and knowledge of private markets investment life cycle and client-facing processes supporting private markets products., • Solid regional knowledge of IFM Investors’ client landscape, e.g. institutional investor segments, consultants, key opinion leaders, • Strong knowledge of, and curiosity about, private markets, products and institutional clients, • Client relationship management skills., • Knowledge of systems / CRM databases supporting client and investment data, • Business acumen, financial metrics, and key performance drivers. Exact compensation amount may vary and will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skills and qualifications.
