Job Description MMC Group is hiring for a licensed or provisionally licensed Behavioral Health Clinician in New York State to provide clinical oversight, structured care coordination, and direct member support within a community-based setting. Must have: LMSW, LCSW, & LMHC This is a part-time, in-person opportunity ideal for a clinician who values collaborative care, regulatory integrity, and measurable clinical impact. The role offers meaningful member engagement and the potential for permanent placement. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician will work in partnership with the Clinical and Wellness Coordinator and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality behavioral health services, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective, evidence-based interventions. This role includes responsibility for PHQ-9 oversight, service planning, safety planning, documentation integrity, and staff training initiatives. Core Responsibilities: Clinical Oversight & Member Support • Ensure timely completion and reassessment of PHQ-9 screenings, • Conduct in-person follow-ups for members scoring 10 or higher on PHQ-9, • Develop and implement safety plans for high-risk members or those reporting self-harm history, • Create and maintain individualized service plans for members receiving clinical care, • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to the Clinical and Wellness Coordinator, • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and care coordination sessions, • Maintain consistent communication with supervisors, direct care staff, families, guardians, and collateral contacts, • Maintain audit-ready records, including:, • Service plans, • Clinical notes, • Training documentation, • Contact logs, • Ensure adherence to regulatory and licensing standards at the program level, • Provide annual and as-needed in-service training to staff, • Attend monthly, quarterly, and MHI meetings for clinical review and coaching, • Stay current with evidence-based behavioral health interventions and therapeutic best practices Requirements: • Active or provisional licensure in New York State as one of the following:, • LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker, • LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker, • LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor, • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related Behavioral Health field, • 1–2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred, • Strong understanding of regulatory and licensing requirements, • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic documentation systems, • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information professionally, • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced or high-acuity environments Pay: Up to $42/hr Location: In-Person, East end of Staten Island Company DescriptionThroughout the past 30 years plus, MMC, one of the most trusted names in workforce management services, has successfully delivered strategic solutions to large and small businesses in numerous industries.
