Overview: William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is hiring for a Senior Project Manager for new work in New Albany, IN! The Senior Project Manager is a leadership position and will manage the financial and business aspects of William Charles Construction Infrastucture group. This position provides leadership and responsibility for both technical and administrative positions that will involve short and long term planning. Responsible for establishing and managing the business units' goals and objectives. The Senior Project Manager will have the lead role to interface with assigned Construction Project Leaders and for all aspects of the projects from initial budgeting, planning and development. Utilization of the Construction Department policies and procedures and Project Controls requirements to plan, organize, monitor, control and report status progress. The Senior Project Manager is directly responsible for the financial P&L within the department's operations. This role will be based in New Albany, onsite, with the needed ability to travel to projects as needed. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the oversight, assignment, training, and development of CE&I – Project Managers, • Approve PTO for direct reports, • Ensure Job and Budget Set-ups are completed with assistance of estimating and project manager, • Review Bids and Contract Documents during the project bidding and negotiations, • Collaborate with Directors for the assignment of resources to new projects, • Review financial Reports weekly for all active projects, • Ensure Weekly Project review meetings are scheduled and held with project teams, and correct information is being presented and reported, including explanation of variances, • Assist and approve, as needed with Purchasing to get P.O.’s and Subcontracts Executed, • Assist as needed with Legal for Contract Reviews, • Ensure Pay Applications (Billing sheets) are processed in a timely manner and review before submittal by Project Managers, • Review and approve Change Orders before Project Managers Submit to Clients, • Review and sign off on Monthly Projections, CCR Logs, Risk Matrices, and Stretch Goals with Project Teams, • Assemble weekly executive project notes and review with Director of Operations, • Attend monthly customer meetings as necessary, • Perform quarterly and year end reviews with direct deports, • Assist with Business Development as requested, • Assist with Process/Procedure Development as needed, • Complete a minimum of two (2) on-site Safety Reports a month, • Audit Project Procore sites once per month, or as needed, to assure information meets requirements and is up to date Qualifications:, • Construction Management degree or similar. Job Description Position is on site and candidates must have hotel accounting experience Supervise and coordinate the Accounting operations in the hotel to ensure accurate, timely and consistent reporting in accordance with policies and procedures, Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Assist and support the Controller in maintaining control over income, expenses and the assets and liabilities of the hotel. Position is responsible for the daily operation of Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Journal, General Cashiering, Taxes and internal controls. May recommend and implement operational changes. Specific Responsibilities: * Supervise the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashier and Night Audit employees; interview, recommend hiring, train, develop, empower, schedule, coach and counsel, recommend and conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate. * Supervise the daily accounting operations ensuring compliance with the SOPs and Federal, State and local laws and regulations. * Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure financial information is available and accurate. * Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accurate, timely information is available for management. * Assist in the compilation and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, taxes and other financial reports to provide support thus ensuring accurate, timely information is available for management and owners. * Train, monitor and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of financial and cash controls and information flow throughout the other departments in the hotel to ensure compliance, accurate records and minimize liabilities, losses and expenses. * Resolve problems and ensure maintenance of the accounting systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations. * Analyze and be familiar with tenants, leases and rent reports and ensure hotel is in compliance with hotel leases and management contracts. * Has a fiduciary responsibility to company and management. * Assumes the responsibilities of the Corporate Controller in his/her absence. * Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager. Other Duties/Responsibilities * Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested. * Travel - travel required to other hotels and corporate for meetings, training and task forces. * Hours: Minimum 50 hours over a five day period; days and times may vary based on need. * Training: In order that the Accounting Manager may fulfill his/her role properly, his/her training must consist of: * Front Office operation and Night Audit. * Accounts Payable and Receivable. * Income Audit and Restaurant Control. * Food and Beverage Control. * Payroll and Personnel. * General Cashier and Credit Management. Job Description This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s income tax reporting processes and supporting corporate tax compliance activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in U.S. federal and state income tax, experience with multinational operations, and a collaborative mindset to help drive process improvements and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations. Position Responsibilities: • Tax Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Manages and train staff to perform quarterly and annual preparation and review of income tax provision for the audited financial statements of the Company. Ensures timely delivery of consolidated income tax provisions and adjusting tax entries prepared under ASC 740 and FIN48, including forecast of tax accruals, deferred tax reconciliation, shareholder tax reporting packages and financial statement tax footnote. Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during financial audits and tax provision reviews. Ensures all tax process control documentations, tax policies and procedures, and disclosure controls are effective, maintained, and updated in accordance with Company internal control requirements., • Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, including estimated payments and extensions. Assist with KPMG PBC requests, special tax return M-1 calculations, tax notices, tax compliance for JV entities, and internally prepared tax returns and tax certificate requests., • Tax Planning: Monitors legislative developments worldwide and maintains a good understanding of their impact to the Company’s global operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and Treasury to support business initiatives and transactions. May assist with R&D tax credit study, federal, state and local government grants, tax incentives programs, real property tax credit, manufacturing credits and sales tax exemptions in conjunction with the Company‘s renewed investments and expansion in operations, jobs, and research and development., • Tax Audits & Queries: Assists corporate tax audits in the U.S., researches and analyzes audit issues and controversies, and develops favorable tax positions to minimize tax liability for the Company., • Transactional Analysis: Support global tax compliance and reporting initiatives, including transfer pricing documentation and country-by-country reporting. Assists with managing legal entities’ transfer pricing analyses and maintaining/updating documentation for annual benchmarking. Ensures the transfer pricing documentation remains current with changes in the company’s and tax laws in applicable jurisdictions.
