Job Description The Accounts Receivable Clerk (AR) is a multi-faceted role reporting directly to the Controller. This position is primarily responsible for the full-cycle management of customer accounts, including payment processing, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting. Beyond core accounting duties, this individual serves as a vital cross-functional backup for Customer Service and Accounts Payable. In a food-production environment, this role also carries the responsibility of monitoring and reporting on food safety or quality issues, ensuring operational standards are met. Duties and Responsibilities: • Process Customer Payments using Deposit Edge, • Process customer complaints/concerns on daily basis, issuing credits when approved by QC, • Post all customer payments on a regular basis., • Ship invoices using SYSPRO and ensure OPENSO report is blank, daily, • Bill appropriate customers through EDI and appropriate portals., • Process and Email customer statements on a regular basis., • Send aging to President, • Email monthly sales reports to President, VP, Executive Administrator and sales reps., • Make collections calls for past due accounts, • Scan all orders on daily basis, • Driver settlement, • Take and process customer orders, including will calls, • Assist with answering incoming calls, • Customer service backup, • Enter customer orders into SYSPRO system, • Check customer service emails, • Send EOM A/R Sales + Cash Reconciliation, • Manage Customer Credit card Payments and accounts, • Manage all customer price Groups and Levels, • Complete invoice portion or recall/ mock recall when needed, • Manage all distributors approved Billbacks + Deviations, • Email brokers copies of required invoices for commissions, • Perform Credit check on potential customers to determine credit worthiness, • Performs other similar or related duties as necessary, • 3 year experience in account receivables, • Minimum of High School education, • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish, required., • Verbal and written communication skills, • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Syspro a plus, • Good communication skills, • Ability to prioritize and follow directions with little or no supervision, • Ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously, • Bi-lingual (Spanish-English), • Ability to work in a team environment, • Computer skills in Excel, Outlook, Word and other, strongly required, • Strong organizational skillsCompany DescriptionLa Canasta Mexican Food Products, Inc. is dedicated to ensuring a drug-free workplace and promoting equal opportunities for all.
