Success in this role requires compassion, strong operational and clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams through sensitive and deeply meaningful experience How you will make an impact: • Hire, develop, and support staff, • Ensure regulatory compliance and staff education, • Oversee reporting, documentation, budgeting, and program evaluations, • Coordinate IDG, QAPI, and Governing Body meetings, • Maintain a safe, well‑run office environment, • Support growth strategy, staffing needs, and community outreach, • Review performance metrics for CMS and internal standards, • Manage volunteers and oversee onboarding, • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice, • Two years or more of supervisory and/or administrative experience managing clinical teams, • 5 or more years of nursing experience, • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record, • Demonstrates a broad base knowledge of community health nursing and competent clinical skills, • Ability to be available in person or telephonically to assist with after-hours administrative on call responsibilities, • Proficient Computer skills including, but not limited to, use of Word, Excel, report software such as HomeCare HomeBase, and Outlook, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership ability, • Excellent organizational skills, • Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing, • Hospice experience, • Previous experience in handling new hospice referrals from first contact through admission
