Job DescriptionSalary: 65000 Extreme Fleet Services, LLC, a Southwest Florida construction company, is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Advisor -- Heavy Equipment, Fleet & Customer Service to serve as the primary point of contact for both external customers and internal company departments regarding maintenance and repair services for heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. This role is responsible for coordinating repairs, scheduling maintenance, communicating service updates, managing work orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience in fleet or heavy equipment maintenance operations. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, equipment operators, technicians, vendors, and management., • Greet customers and accurately document equipment and vehicle service concerns., • Create, manage, and close repair orders while maintaining accurate service records., • Schedule preventative maintenance and repair services for customer equipment and company fleet assets., • Communicate repair recommendations, estimates, timelines, and service updates to customer and internal stakeholders., • Coordinate workflow between technicians, customers, and operations personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs., • Monitor equipment and fleet downtime and proactively work to minimize operational disruptions., • Review technician findings and explain repairs and maintenance requirements in a clear and professional manner., • Obtain approvals for repairs and communicate any changes in scope or cost., • Maintain detailed records of maintenance history, warranties, inspections, and compliance documentation., • Assist with tracking fleet registrations, inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements., • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and service providers., • Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally., • Support parts ordering, inventory management, and vendor coordination as needed., • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards and applicable regulations. PositionRequirements Position Requirements include, but are not limited to the following: • High school diploma or GED required., • Minimum of three years experience in service advising, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related industry preferred., • Strong understanding of heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, and fleet maintenance practices., • Experience with service management software, work order systems, and maintenance tracking programs., • Valid driver's license required., • Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet compliance requirements preferred., • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to explain technical information to customers in an understandable manner., • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities., • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills., • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software., • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy., • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
