The Brain Balance Program® is an evidence-based, drug-free brain performance program to improve focus/ADHD, regulation, cognition, anxiety, confidence, and more. It addresses the root causes behind behavioral, social, and cognitive challenges (i.e. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, sensory processing, memory, etc.) through a personalized, holistic program incorporating proven cognitive, behavioral, and nutrition methods. Learn more about our program at BrainBalanceSanDiego.com. The Coach Intern is responsible for supporting individual sessions with supervision from Sensory Motor Coaches. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Support students to complete their individualized Brain Balance sessions by motivating students as young as 3 to complete a series of physical and sensory motor exercises, academic and cognitive skills training, and social and emotional learning (SEL) skills, • Operations, • Outreach/Community relations, as needed, • Passionate about kids and inclusion and/or brain health, • Pursuing a career in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health, Education, Psychology, or related field, • Experience working with the neurodivergent population (ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, defiance, learning disabilities, etc.) a plus, • Background in physical training, physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), behavioral interventions such as ABA, psychology, martial arts, fitness, coaching, or education a plus, • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Google Workspace, and other current software and technology including tablets, • Bilingual, particularly Spanish, a plus, • Clear, open communication; able to adapt communication strategies to each audience, • Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable with tablets and technology, • Creative problem solver, patient, compassionate, proactive, and energetic, • Team player; flexible
