Job DescriptionDescription: The International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) is seeking dedicated and skilled Pediatric Clinical Instructor to join our academic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nursing professionals to instruct and supervise nursing students in pediatric clinical patient care settings. Purpose The Pediatric Clinical Instructor provides direct supervision and instruction to nursing students during their clinical rotations in pediatric patient care environments. This role ensures students develop practical skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors necessary for safe and effective pediatric patient care. Responsibilities Clinical Instruction & Supervision • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students in pediatric clinical settings, • Demonstrate and teach best practices in pediatric nursing care, • Ensure student compliance with clinical site policies and procedures, • Provide timely, constructive feedback and document student performance, • Collaborate with academic leadership to deliver clinical objectives aligned with pediatric course outcomes, • Integrate evidence-based practices and current pediatric nursing standards into instruction, • Serve as a liaison between ICHS, clinical site staff, and students, • Maintain open, professional communication with faculty, administration, and clinical partners, • Complete accurate and timely documentation of student attendance, progress, and evaluations, • Report any student or site concerns to the appropriate academic leadership Education / Experience / Knowledge • Unencumbered Florida or Compact State RN License required, • Minimum 4 years clinical experience as an RN required, with a preference for pediatric experience, • Minimum of an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, • Strong clinical knowledge in nursing, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and foster student growth, • Proficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office Suite, • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, • Must reside within commuting distance of Broward County, Florida, • This is not a remote position; on-site presence at clinical locations is required Education / Experience / Knowledge • Unencumbered Florida or Compact State RN License required, • Minimum 4 years clinical experience as an RN required, with a preference for pediatric experience, • Minimum of an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, • Strong clinical knowledge in nursing, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and foster student growth, • Proficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office Suite, • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, • Must reside within commuting distance of Broward County, Florida, • This is not a remote position; on-site presence at clinical locations is required, • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as needed Additional Information:At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S. Individuals hired must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
