Lead Teachers at The Learning Experience O-Town West are trained and have a high expectation to provide premiere care to our little learners aged 6 weeks to 6 years (Including VPK). Our passionate teachers use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning. Role Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback. Responsible for overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infant and Toddler children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their childrens latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Support your centers success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. Ability to move, lift, and assist children (e.g., up to 40 lbs). Qualifications: • Must meet Florida DCF Early Learning/Child Care Licensing requirements, including:, • Completion of a state-approved 45-hour introductory child care training, • Completion of additional annual in-service training hours as required by DCF, • Current CPR and First Aid certification, • Must pass background screenings, including Level 2 background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening, • Education & Professional Credentials:, • Associates or higher degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university, • Preferred: CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or equivalent certification, • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children, • Competencies & Skills:, • Strong knowledge of age-appropriate child development, Florida Early Learning Developmental Standards, and Curriculum Implementation, • Ability to plan, organize, and execute lessons that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, • Excellent communication skillswith children, families, and co-teachers, • Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment, • Patience, creativity, and flexibility to adapt to changing needs How To Apply: To apply and learn more about The Learning Experience please visit our website at: or Email:
