As our Senior Retirement Plan Specialist, you'll have a direct impact on helping our clients see that 401(k) planning can be an exciting part of planning their future. You will manage, support, and coordinate retirement plan client relationships under the direction of the Retirement Plan Advisor. You will interact with multiple internal and external contacts, including retirement plan participants. We have fun, we work hard, and we are nice to each other. Team members work from our SW Portland office Monday - Thursday 7:30-4:00pm and Fridays 7:00-2:00pm. What you will do: • Manage and support client relationships to ensure a gold standard client experience. Engage in regular in-person, phone, and email client interactions., • Prepare and process documentation related to client maintenance (account applications, transfer documents) and client onboarding (initial applications), in-person and over the phone collaboration with client and service providers, and acting as a transition partner, • Log all activities and client and prospect data into the firm's CRM., • Collaborate closely with the Retirement Plan Advisor at all stages of the client review meeting process, prepare materials and attend meetings. Enter accurate and detailed notes into the CRM following meetings and follow up on action items., • Perform calendaring functions with both internal teams and external clients, prospects, and Centers Of Influence (COIs), • Conduct on-site education and enrollment meetings and assist with 401(k) participant meetings., • Assist with preparation of requests for proposal (RFPs)., • Interact with trustees, plan sponsors, plan participants, Third Party Administrators and recordkeepers to answer their questions and service their retirement plans., • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing role in the financial services industry. Experience working with retirement plans is strongly preferred., • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products., • Experience with Salesforce is preferred., • Series 65 license is a plus (or willingness to obtain it within 12 months at Coldstream's expense) Benefits: In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $70k and $80k, plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package. Licensed individuals can also participate in our New Business Incentive program.
