MHS is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. Flex houseparents are couples who reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Flex houseparents provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. Required Qualifications: • One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC, • Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations, • ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC) A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. Talkiatry is led clinically by Dr. Georgia Gaveras, a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with an additional board-certification in addiction medicine.
