Job Description Job Title: Chemist Job Description Join our BioAnalytical Team as an Chemist where you will engage in critical biological extractions from samples such as urine, blood, and plasma. You will work with cutting-edge robotics and utilize tools like balances, pH meters, and pipettes. Operating under GLP regulations, you will have the opportunity to quickly advance your training if experienced. Responsibilities • Perform biological extractions on various biological samples., • Initially focus on wet lab extractions, then transition to LC-MS (HPLC-Mass Spec) after six months., • Operate robotics for liquid handling., • Utilize laboratory tools such as balances, pH meters, and pipettes., • Use eWorkbook software on a tablet., • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related Life Science field., • 1+ year of chemistry coursework or undergraduate research experience., • Experience with pipetting and solution preparation., • Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, or Mass Spec is a plus., • Strong attention to detail., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred., • Experience in food service, bartending, or client-facing roles is helpful., • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines., • Strong multitasking abilities. This role is set in a lab environment within the Bioanalytical team, comprising approximately 100 employees. The focus is predominantly on lab-based activities.
