Job Description Description • Process payroll for multi-state employees (CA, NV, OR) ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including California-specific requirements, Nevada and Oregon • Review and audit payroll data including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and taxes • Maintain employee payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems, UKG Pro and WFM • Administer garnishments, levies, and child support orders • Coordinate payroll tax filings and ensure proper multi-state tax handling • Reconcile payroll prior to and after processing • Partner with HR on hires, terminations, leaves, and pay changes • Ensure timely and compliant final pay processing in all states. • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner. • Support all internal and external audits • Assist with year-end processes including W-2s • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills: • Must have excellent communication and training skills • Demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills as well as being an organized recordkeeper. • Must be trustworthy self-started who can work independently and deliver accurate, timely results. • Demonstrate organization and accuracy skills, self-motivated, detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects/tasks with completing deadlines. • Must demonstrate the ability to solve problems, accept constructive feedback and show flexibility should priorities and/or completing deadlines. • Strong strategic thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify key issues and risks. • Strong customer service and problem-solving approach. • Excellent verbal and written skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
