ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – REAL ESTATE FINANCE & INVESTMENT Hartford, CT An AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing Commercial Finance & Investment team in Hartford. This team represents institutional lenders, investors, and property owners in complex transactions across the United States. Candidate Profile: * JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. * Admission to the Connecticut Bar (or sitting for the July 2025 bar exam). * 0–4 years of substantive transactional experience, with a demonstrated interest in national finance and real estate investment work. * Strong drafting experience with loan agreements, joint ventures, and LLC documents is preferred. * Exposure to commercial real estate transactions is highly desirable. * Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. * Prior non-legal experience in finance, investment, or real estate industries is a plus. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in structuring and negotiating commercial finance transactions involving real estate assets. * Draft and review loan documents, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, and related transactional documents. * Work closely with partners and clients to execute complex deals across various asset classes and jurisdictions. * Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to sophisticated clients.
