Job DescriptionJob Title: Material HandlerJob Description As a Material Stock Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials within our facility. Your primary responsibilities include unloading deliveries, verifying shipments, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. You will be integral in maintaining our high standards for quality and safety while contributing to our dynamic and innovative team. Responsibilities • Unload deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices., • Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies., • Communicate any shortages, damages, or nonconformance to Quality and Purchasing departments., • Actively enter receiving transactions into the ERP system., • Ensure all materials are properly labeled and barcoded according to company standards., • Support the put-away of materials into correct storage locations., • File and maintain accurate records of incoming shipments., • Ensure receiving paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly routed., • Communicate with Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics on delivery status or issues., • Assist in daily cycle counts and reconciliation activities., • Ensure all transactions match the physical material flow., • Support investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies., • Follow all company safety policies and procedures for material handling., • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving dock and staging areas.Essential Skills, • Experience: 1+ years of experience in warehouses, receiving, or material handling in a manufacturing environment., • Forklift experience required., • Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices., • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required., • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.
