The Transformation Director or Manager champions organizational health and continuous improvement that builds the capacity for the firm to achieve greater effectiveness by developing, improving, and reinforcing strategies, structures, and processes. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Transformation position plays a pivotal role in identifying opportunities and spearheading strategic projects that bring significant benefits to the business. This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can navigate a dynamic environment and lead efforts to enhance operational efficiency, drive profitability, and implement solutions that achieve our strategic goals. This role will steward a culture of organizational health and continuous improvement that builds the capacity for the firm to achieve greater effectiveness by developing, improving, and reinforcing strategies, structures, and processes. Compensation & Benefits At Geffen Mesher, we value transparency and equity in compensation. The compensation offered for this position will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: years of relevant experience, unique or specialized skill sets, education, licensure, internal equity, and location. The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000. We cover 100% of the individual medical premium!!!, • Generous PTO, plus 12 Paid Holidays, 8 hours of Volunteer Time and Paid Parental Leave, • Hybrid work options, • Flexible workweek during the summer, Fridays are optional!, • Incentive plan for sales leads, • Generous Employee Referral Program Requirements: What you’ll be doing • Collaboration with Team Leads: Work closely with Team Leads to execute the strategic plan and contribute to the long-term vision of the firm., • Administrative Oversight: Supervise administrative projects, support processes, scheduling, and workflow management to ensure smooth operations., • Software Innovation: Explore and assess new software solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and drive innovation. Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for software integration and adoption., • Software Administration: Evaluate, renew, set up, and administer tax-based software systems, such as Axcess, Sureprep, and Safesend, to ensure optimal functionality and compliance., • Research Subscriptions: Evaluate, renew, set up, and administer research subscriptions to support the firm's work and decision-making processes., • Resource Allocation Planning: Participate in team utilization planning through Power BI reports and coordinate with the Production Planner to optimize resource allocation., • Team Meetings: Actively participate in team meetings across the Firm to align strategies, discuss progress, and address challenges., • Special Projects: Oversee special projects and monitor progress towards established goals, ensuring successful project completion., • Contractor Utilization: Supervise the utilization of seasonal contractors, outsourcing resources, and coordinate with Training to maintain a high level of productivity. What makes you a fit • Experience working in public accounting is strongly preferred., • Manager in a public accounting firm who would like growth and to move into the business side of the Firm., • Desire to join a Firm that invests in technology and innovation., • Transformation Manager: 5+ years with the above experience, • Dealing with Ambiguity - can effectively cope with change.
