The Opportunity Were looking for an experienced Senior Account Director to lead day-to-day activities across several key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. This role is ideal for a seasoned agency professional who can combine strategic client partnership, strong leadership, and deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem to drive meaningful results for both clients and patients. As Senior Account Director, youll guide a talented team, shape client strategy, and foster collaboration across disciplines all while living Rx4goods values of Excellence, Impact, Exploration, Collaboration, and doing Whats Humanly Possible. What Youll Do Client Leadership & Strategy • Serve as the primary agency contact for assigned clients, providing trusted counsel grounded in advocacy and business objectives., • Lead development and execution of strategic patient advocacy and engagement programs, including advisory boards, ambassador initiatives, and clinical trial communications., • Oversee creation of high-level strategic materials such as annual plans, proposals, and presentations., • Ensure quality, accuracy, and strategic alignment of all client deliverables., • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering professional growth and accountability., • Delegate effectively, maintain transparent communication, and cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment., • Identify staffing needs and contribute to team planning and recruitment efforts., • Contribute to business development by identifying new client opportunities and leading proposal development., • Develop and manage account budgets, forecasts, and scopes of work., • Demonstrate an understanding of agency operations and the financial drivers of account success., • Represent Rx4good at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the agencys visibility and influence. What You Bring • Exceptional communication skills Youre confident engaging with senior leaders and C-suite executives, able to convey complex ideas clearly, persuasively, and with polish., • Pharma industry expertise You have successful experience supporting highly matrixed pharmaceutical and biotech organizations and understand the nuances of working across complex stakeholder environments., • Education & experience You hold a bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, and bring 10+ years of experience in a client-facing role ideally within an agency or similar fast-paced, strategic environment. Experience in rare disease is preferred, with the ability to work across diverse therapeutic areas, including oncology., • Deep industry understanding You know the drug development process inside and out from R&D through commercialization and appreciate how patient advocacy and engagement fit strategically within that lifecycle., • Strategic storytelling Youre adept at developing compelling PowerPoint presentations and other executive-level materials that translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations., • Exceptional writing & presentation skills You can simplify complex information into concise, visually engaging communications that resonate with diverse audiences., • Proactive problem solver You anticipate challenges, think creatively, and take initiative to find effective, pragmatic solutions., • Commitment to excellence You take pride in producing high-quality, polished, and error-free deliverables that reflect well on both you and the agency., • Client partnership mindset You build trust by deeply understanding client needs, thinking ahead, and delivering value through insight and collaboration., • Big-picture thinking You understand how every project contributes to broader client goals and youre always looking for ways to elevate impact and innovation. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated compensation for this position is within the range of $175,000 to $215,000. Salary will bebased on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, skills, subject area expertise, business development potential, seniority within the level and specific business needs. In addition to salary, our total compensation package includes many benefits and rewards including bonuses, health and wellness plans, and paid vacation, sick and holidays.
