The Team Leader provides day‑to‑day leadership, coordination, and support for a team of technicians or operators within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, consistent, and high‑quality execution of production or maintenance activities while maintaining adherence to standard work, documentation, and cleanroom requirements. The Team Leader supports shift performance, assists with troubleshooting, facilitates communication across functions, and contributes to continuous improvement in yield, throughput, and operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate daily activities and task assignments for team members to support production goals and shift requirements., • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, ESD controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)., • Provide hands‑on support for routine tasks, equipment operation, WIP movement, or basic troubleshooting as applicable., • Monitor team performance, workflow, and tool availability; escalate issues that impact yield, cycle time, or schedule attainment., • Train, coach, and mentor technicians/operators on procedures, documentation accuracy, and technical or operational skills., • Support shifts start‑up, pass‑down, communication, and reporting activities., • Maintain accurate documentation in MES/ERP systems for WIP movement, equipment status, and process transactions., • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities to resolve issues affecting production or equipment performance., • Assist with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts., • Monitor and maintain inventory of consumables, supplies, and required materials., • Ensure adherence to workplace organization (5S), quality standards, and operational excellence practices., • Provide feedback to Supervisors and Managers regarding performance, training needs, and process gaps. Knowledge, Skills, Experience: • Minimum Qualifications, • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, production operations, equipment support, or related technical environments., • Ability to perform and guide others in following SOPs, safety procedures, and cleanroom requirements., • Strong communication, coordination, and team‑building skills., • Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities., • Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation and system transactions (MES/ERP)., • Ability to lead by example and support team members in a fast‑paced environment., • Preferred Qualifications, • Experience in a lead role, mentoring or guiding technicians/operators., • Familiarity with WIP flow, dispatch lists, equipment operations, and process monitoring., • Understanding of SPC basics, defect awareness, or quality control practices., • Experience supporting continuous improvement (5S, Lean basics, error‑proofing)., • Minimum Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent., • Preferred Qualifications, • Technical coursework in manufacturing, engineering technology, or related areas., • Cleanroom, ESD, or safety training relevant to semiconductor operations. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $26.20 and $39.38/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including variable pay and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO (Paid Time Off) and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
